Complex Authorization Specialist - (Kansas City, MO)

Aerotek has recently partnered with a new organization in the Northland Kansas City area. This organization is seeking customer service associates with backgrounds in the medical field (patient care reps, front and back office administration, medical claims, billing, etc.). This is an excellent chance to get your foot in the door with a growing organization in a stable industry. Pay: $15.00-$16/hr. - depending on background Shift: Monday - Friday (must be available between 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Position overview: - Reviews and enters complex authorizations and referrals from VA and providers. - Expertise to effectively communicate medical info, test results, diagnoses and or proposed treatment in a manner easily understood by the patient. - Must be able to effectively communicate with clinical staff. - Place outbound phone calls to beneficiaries and providers as needed within contractual timelines.
