Biomedical Electronics Technician - Biomedical Equipment Technician - BioMed - (Gainesville, FL)

Job assignments: To perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibrations on medical equipment including patient monitors, defibrillators, pulse oximeters, electrosurgical units, sterilizers, surgical tables, therapeutic ultrasounds, various lab equipment, blood pressure monitors and other equipment as needed. Background Required: * Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Military electronics training or equivalent electronic training and background, required;* Current understanding of the theory, operation, and repair of medical instrumentation and medical electronic systems * Expertise to troubleshoot equipment problems to the component level where applicable* CBET - Certified Biomed Equipment Technician (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation AAMI) (Preferred)* Current Valid Class D Florida Driver's License with clean driving history
