RARE VTG Jewelry Box [African Zebrawood] (Craig Brown) for Necklaces | Rings - $200 - (Albuquerque, NM)

Previously owned but never been used.See included video at bottom. This is a 'Yo Yo' jewelry box that was handcrafted by Craig Brown. It is made of Zebrawood from Africa and splits in the middle and pivots outward to reveal the inside. Where the split is in the middle, it comes together in a wave-styled formation. Inside is a leather or leather-like mat to place your jewelry and keepsakes on. On the edge of box lip (when the wings are turned out) it is stamped "(c) 1987 Craig Brown". Craig Brown doesn't make these boxes anymore, so this is a rare find. Past boxes of his have sold from between 500 and 700 dollars each at galleries.
