Position description The Purchasing Manager has responsibility for securing raw materials, equipment, supplies and services to maintain the operations of both the Industrial North America and Inks America businesses. This job mandates execution of both tactical and strategic elements of Procurement to maximize service level to customers at min cost while maintaining the world class quality that is associated with Sensient’s brand. Responsibilities Secure the necessary raw material, equipment, supplies and services in an effort to meet/exceed service level objectives for both internal and external customers Integrate Materials Requirement Planning functions with the Sales and Operation Planning process to enable automated procurement activities Maintain alternate suppliers for Top 50 raw materials; To be identified as an alternate, supplier must be approved and material specifications documented Meet budgeted spend objectives Manage the Cost Savings Initiative Program
