Production Engineer - Chemicals - (St Louis, MO)

Compensation range: $65,000 to $77,000 Min Qualifications: B.S. Chemical Engineering min; 3+ years of background in some kind of chemical manufacturing plant, ideally a PSM-regulated facility (chemicals, coatings, pharmaceuticals, etc). Applicants will need to have at least 1 year of hands-on, in-plant troubleshooting (production) background and should also have done some optimization and/or improvement work. Applicants MUST have the expertise to work together with union operators, and have the expertise to guide and mentor them. Pluses include: background with data analysis, background with scaling a process up from bench or pilot to full-scale manufacturing, background with some kind of reaction chemistry, background with distillation, and/or six-sigma certification.
