So that the problem can be resolved. thenextitemwehaveontheblockis!!!!!!!! Trader-BOB's MUSIC on facebook offers a unique, Electric Dulcimer Banjo. All wood construction. Made by a man in Bluffton Indiana that built dulcimers in the 1980's. His name is on the back of the headstock, sixth picture. Well built. Kind of an experimental thing. All his other dulcimers he made, he numbered. I have three more of his. This one has no numbers. May have been his first built. I modified it some, added the electrics, mandolin tailpiece, to accomodate 5 strings, and the geardrive extra tuners. This is currently strung with three strings, (can have up to 5 ), high string note on the bottom. Strung this way it is played, in the normal banjo playing position, and fretted on the bottom string. It can be restrung, with up to 5 strings, as a lap dulcimer, (strings high to low, the opposite of a banjo) and played laying on your lap. Fretting the melody strings, like a lap dulcimer. The electrics work great, and this sounds really good. As a dulcimer, there are many options for tuning it. 8-1/4" head diameter. 9-3/16" resonator diameter. 28-3/4" overall length. Maple neck, 17 frets. THIS IS FRETTED AS A DULCIMER, NOT A STANDARD BANJO. No 6-1/2 fret. This was made in 1984, before the 1/2 frets became popular. *************** THE SHIPPING CHARGES ARE CALCULATED BY EBAY, NOT ME **************** CHECK OUT THE SHIPPING OF THIS ITEM TO YOU, VIA EBAY'S SHIPPING CALCULATOR.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, IF YOU THINK THE CHARGES ARE TOO HIGH
