This old timber frame would make a wonderful weekend getaway or a lovely home!! This beautiful old barn was taken down in 2012. The timber frame has a peak height of 22’10”. It is a 6 bent/5 bay structure. The timbers are hand hewn oak. All timbers are labeled with their location and plans with all parts labeled will be provided (see pictures 12 for example). Frame includes bent timbers, bracing, roof rafters and any other structural elements in the frame. Floor decking, roof decking, sill beams, floor joists and any foundation not included. We will look closely at every timber before loading for shipment and determine if any need replacing. Material suitable to make replacements will be provided. They will be hewn timbers of similar size. Our business is Old Wood New Use, LLC and we have been taking down old barns and log buildings since 2000 so have a lot of experience in properly dismantling old buildings. We rebuilt one of the cabins on our property and it is a beautiful structure. Please look at all pictures carefully and ASK QUESTIONS.
