Senior Property / Casualty Insurance Underwriter - (Raleigh, NC)

RECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT (12-7-2016) The North Carolina League of Municipalities is initiating the recruitment process for Senior Property and Casualty Underwriter in the Risk Management Services (RMS) unit. This position is responsible for analyzing and underwriting property, liability, and workers' compensation. The senior underwriter is responsible for evaluating risks, exposures, loss background and making any needed recommendations to the Director of P&C Underwriting. This person should be able to review member's contracts in regards to insurance requirements and make risk management recommendations to the member. The person should be able to discuss the various coverages in-detail and compare coverages with carrier's forms to member governments. Outstanding communication expertise and customer service is essential due to the amount of contact this person will have with the members.
