General Accountant II - (Tewksbury, MA)

We are looking for a General Accountant to be part of Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems Accounting Department and be responsible for financial analysis and reporting. This is an opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment! The applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: * Compiling and analyzing financial details to prepare reports and journal entries for the purpose of accruing over or under absorbed expenses and to bill/transfer intercompany expenses. * Posting cost transfers after performing a review to verify their accuracy and compliance with internal controls and guidelines. * Preparing and analyzing monthly account reconciliations and management reports. * Prepare schedules and reports in support of the annual Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Indirect Rates Proposal.
