Up for your consideration is this vintage beer mug stein made by the Rastal Beer Stein factory in Grenzhausen, Germany from the 1985 Munchen Octoberfest. It is large and heavy and marked Rastal and signed by the artist, Fritz Dommel of the graphic on the front. Depicted is a German man in traditional attire holding a beer barrel over his head while doing the splits. The barrel reads "175 JAHRE marking the 1985 celebration of Octoberfest in Muchen as the 175th Anniversary Germany's Octoberfest celebrations! It will hold one liter of your favourite beverage. Measurements are approximately 7 1/2" inches tall by 4" inches in diameter. No apparent chips, cracks or crazing.
