1963 Epiphone Professional modified ES-335 with T-TOP humbuckers - $1,890 - (Carbondale, IL)
Add Me to Your Favorite Sellers Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1963 Epiphone Professional in its original Cherry finish. The Professional was similar to the ES-335, but with one mini-humbucker and an exclusive configuration of electronics that worked together with a specific Epiphone amplifier. This one has been modified to be more like the ES-335 with a set of vintage T-top humbuckers (one patent # sticker and one patent # stamp) and all electronics have been changed. It has a great playing neck with good frets and an 11/16" nut width. Other changed parts include the vintage tulip button double-line Kluson Deluxe tuning keys, the nut, bridge, and the pickguard. The only non-factory routes are the routes for the humbuckers. This vintage Professional looks good with nicks + dings, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. The factory hole on the bottom edge was where the original jack for the special connection to the amp was housed. The guitar itself remains structurally sound. All electronics work and sound great. The original hardshell case is included, but has some wear and a strong old musty smell. All Illinois residents please add 8.75% sales tax. We are happy to ship internationally.
