NGC Graded F 12 1876 Rare Trade Dollar - $205 - (Allentown, PA)

The trade dollar was minted by the US Mint to compete with other large trade coins that were popular in East Asia. The Asian merchants would punch them with their own store stamp so other merchants knew the coin was authentic. This is example has not been punched.
