Antique c1900 GDA Limoges France Cobalt & Gold Plate Trumpet Flowers For consideration is this antique plate in cobalt blue and gold with yellow and orange trumpet flowers in the center. The plate is beautifully decorated with heavy gold around the embossed rim which fades into a sponged or splatter look. This is followed by a wide band of cobalt blue with green and gold leaves and trumpet flowers and a thin broken band of gold. The center has orange and yellow trumped flowers on a background of white fading into peach. It measures 8½ inches in diameter and is marked on the back in cursive writing “GDA France”, which stands for Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbott, and was made circa 1900. It is excellent antique condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs or crazing noted. There may be gold loss or scratches which I was unable to see so please review photos carefully.
