This is a rare souvenir program from the West End revival of the groundbreaking RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II musical comedy "OKLAHOMA!" at the Palace Theatre in London. (The revival opened September 17th, 1980 and ran for just over one year, closing September 19th, 1981.) ..... The musical starred JOHN DIEDRICH as "Curly", CHRISTINA MATTHEWS as "Laurey", MADGE RYAN as "Aunt Eller", ALFRED MOLINA as "Jud Fry", LINAL HAFT as "Ali Hakim", MARK WHITE as "Will Parker", SHAN STEVENS as "Ado Annie" and ROBERT BRIDGES as "Andrew Carnes" ..... Side note: Twenty year-old MARIA FRIEDMAN (making her stage debut) was a member of the ensemble in the role of "Doris" (seventh scanned image) .....
