This photo matters to me because this time last year we weren't able to go on the polar bear run in my husband's TR6 he and our son restored. We were in the hospital where my husband had suffered 3rd degree burns. To see we could actually make the trip this time was a miracle to me, to see how far he had come in a year. We are back!!

My black and white winter photographs were all attempts to capture the beauty of gradations of white on white the eye sees but the camera rarely captures with the same sensitivity.

The deer captured with a hint of backlighting I think is very majestic.

I was shocked how sharp my bee came out @f3.8, and I think shows nice color balance.

I stare at my white birch field with paths for too long , sometimes. It's a memory of peace and choices in the Ontario Canada Wilderness.

This picture is of My Wife and Our Grand Sons,
Jakob and Joseph, at Ash Cave. Ash Cave is a part of the Ohio Parks Group, and is in The Hocking Hills in South Central Ohio. Hope You can see all of the natural wonder of this particular site. We take the "Boys" there three or four times each Year, once each season. This is a fairly large park, We usually walk about 10 miles, which is a lot because it is very rugged terrain. The pool in this picture overflows in the Spring, and in the Summer there are weddings at this site every weekend.
